The Challenge

They wanted the custom-built filtration business in P360 and apply all the business scenarios and checks while onboarding those products. There was also a need to implement a solution to create void products which should not be available to the market. They also wanted to create workflow task and assign to team and automatically update product fields from workflow.

The Solution

Cummins decided to migrate their whole product information on hosted solution of Informatica MDM P360. Cummins data broadly had three business section data which needed to migrate and one of them being Filtration business data. Filtration is a custom build solution using PL/SQL on Oracle DB. Nvizion designed and implemented the onboarding process of filtration products in P360 using ActiveVOS with the help of Business Process Management. Designed the workflow for the Engineering Change Order onboarding process based on business scenarios and logic to create task and assign those to the respective team.

The Benefits

Reduced manual effort and the ECO cycle time for a product to be available in the market. Established a process to onboard, update, enrich, enhance, and do data completeness checks on the product information with the help of DQ. The business head can get an overall status of the live ECOs and the ECOs under process in P360 and identify with which team it is pending.
