The Challenge
DCT is modernizing its enterprise data landscape to establish trusted master and reference data across multiple business domains while strengthening governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Master and reference data is distributed across multiple platforms and maintained independently without a formal Single Source of Truth (SSOT).
- Multiple applications function as systems of record, resulting in duplicate and inconsistent records across Customer/Visitor, Organization/Partner, Asset/Facility, Product/Service, Event/Venue, and Location domains.
- Data ownership, stewardship, and custodianship responsibilities require formal governance with clearly defined RACI models and escalation paths.
- Reference data including codes, classifications, hierarchies, taxonomies, and lookup values requires centralized governance and controlled synchronization across enterprise systems.
- The solution must align with the DCT Data Maturity Index, UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), NESA standards, and UAE data residency requirements.
- Data Subject Rights, retention policies, and archival processes require centralized governance and automation.

The Solution
Nvizion is implementing an enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) platform on Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to establish a trusted data foundation, strengthen governance, and enable consistent, high-quality master data across the organization.
The engagement focuses on:
- Establishing a centralized Single Source of Truth across six enterprise master data domains
- Designing and implementing a three-tier Data Governance operating model with defined ownership, stewardship, governance workflows, and approval processes
- Building a centralized, version-controlled Reference Data Management repository to standardize codes, hierarchies, classifications, taxonomies, and lookup values
- Configuring Golden Record creation using advanced match, merge, and survivorship rules with workflow-driven data stewardship and complete audit traceability
- Integrating master and reference data with Informatica Cloud, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and other enterprise applications through API, event-driven, and batch integrations
- Embedding Privacy-by-Design principles with automated consent management, data subject rights workflows, retention policies, secure data deletion, and compliance with UAE PDPL, NESA, and data residency requirements
