The Challenge

Wilsonart aimed to build a unified, scalable analytics foundation for its digital commerce ecosystem. Its existing analytics and tracking environment created several challenges:

  • Fragmented tracking and consent management created privacy and governance risks.
  • Inconsistent ecommerce tracking limited visibility across the customer journey.
  • Limited granularity in customer, product and transaction analytics restricted deeper insights.
  • Incorrect event sequencing and duplicate purchase tracking affected data accuracy.
  • Scattered GA4 and GTM configurations lacked standardized naming and governance.
  • The absence of a centralized analytics repository limited deeper analysis and reporting.

The Solution

Nvizion Solutions was tasked with setting up the end to end commerce analytics across the entire Digital Commerce Ecosystem of Wilson Art. They wanted to have a centralized view to track the granular depth of customer interactions with the intent of reducing drop offs and identifying their optimal journeys.

  • Centralized Analytics Architecture: Nvizion implemented a scalable, privacy-first analytics framework for Wilsonart, standardizing tracking across the entire digital commerce ecosystem.
  • Enhanced E-Commerce Tracking: A structured data layer and standardized GA4 enhanced e-commerce implementation were established to capture critical customer, product, cart, and transaction interactions throughout the user journey.
  • Data Accuracy & Safeguards: Nvizion integrated structured event sequencing and purchase-event safeguards to ensure tracking precision and minimize duplicate transaction reporting.
  • Governance & Standardization: A robust GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM) governance framework paired with consistent naming conventions streamlined long-term management, maintenance, and data interpretation.
  • BigQuery Integration: GA4 was integrated directly with Google BigQuery, establishing a centralized analytics repository for advanced data analysis, flexible reporting, and downstream business intelligence
